Skill: newspapers and press archives
Use when: looking for reports of a sale, a court action, a demolition or a statement.
- Start from a named event and date, then search the papers for that week (sales, hearings and announcements cluster).
- Save each article's text with publication, date and page, so later re-reads do not depend on the site being reachable.
- Cite the report as a report: what was printed, by whom, when.
- Business press (company results, mortgage debentures, clearances) is often the only public trace of land changing hands between companies.
- Record against-the-case items found on the way, in the same report.
