Terms of sale: e-books

• You buy a personal licence to read the PDF. Please do not resell or republish it. Quoting short passages with a link is welcome.
• Payment is taken by Stripe (or Gumroad, if you buy there). The price at checkout is the price you pay.
• By buying you ask for the PDF to be supplied straight away and agree that your 14-day right to cancel ends once the download is available (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 37). Faulty file? We replace it or refund you.
• The books present the family's case and the records it rests on.
• £0.00 editions can be downloaded and shared unchanged.

Terms of sale: merchandise

Merchandise is printed on demand by our print partner and shipped from them. You have 14 days from delivery to cancel an order for an unpersonalised item (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013); faulty or damaged items are replaced or refunded. Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. Designs made with AI tools are labelled in the product description.

Privacy notice

Controller: DATRO CONSORTIUM LIMITED (joint with the US parent where it also decides purposes). The full details (what we collect, lawful bases, processors, international transfers, retention, your rights and the ICO) are in section 5 of the AI and provenance policy. In short:

• £0.00 e-book and updates: your email and first name, on your consent, with double opt-in. Unsubscribe from any email.
• Orders: the details Stripe or Gumroad pass us, kept six years for tax.
• No solely automated decisions with significant effects; no AI profiling of customers.

Cookies and tracking

These sites set no advertising cookies. Cloudflare provides security and cookie-free visit counts. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages. If we ever add an advertising pixel (for example Meta's), it will load only after you agree in a cookie banner, as PECR requires.

Governing law

UK and EU consumers: the law of England and Wales, and you keep the mandatory protections and courts of your home country. Everyone else: the laws of the State of Wyoming, with disputes in the state or federal courts in Wyoming.
