The “1924 Stewart survey” line “Late Thos. Williams now John Gedrick Tent.” — it is the 1824 Bute survey
Why it is not ours: A dating slip: the record is ours, but it belongs to 1824.
The record
- The Stewart survey of the Bute estate, DB/E/1 plan 19 and reference table (1824), “Cedfin or Ty Mawr Farm”: “Late Thos. Williams now John Gedrick Tent.” (EV-0211).
- A working note had dated the line 1924. No 1924 survey with this line is on file. The 15 May 1924 Bute–Corbett drain agreement (EV-0015) is a drain agreement and plan with no tenant line.
What it does and does not establish
The line is a record of our farm, from 1824, and names a late Thomas Williams in the Cedfin or Ty Mawr entry. The present transcription (139a 3r 8p; the name “John Gedrick”) remains provisional, as the wiki records.

Exclusion means “not this property” or “not in scope”, not that the source is false, and not evidence of wrongdoing by itself.
