Quotation (verbatim): “NOTE: All known Creditors have been or will be paid in full, but if any persons consider they have claims against any of the Companies they should send in full details forthwith” (claims by 31 Jul 1996). Final general meetings under s.94 Insolvency Act 1986 at Becket House, 1 Lambeth Palace Road, “to have an account for each Company laid before them showing how each winding-up has been conducted and the property of the Companies have been disposed of” (liquidator D. J. Fallen).
Fits with: The liquidator’s s.94 account should show what WGR still held and to whom it passed in 1996–97. With Companies House records gone, the TNA BT 31 files are the route.
Cuts against: A solvent group winding-up of the BP pension companies; routine on its face. WGR is one of a list of companies; nothing names Llandough.
Notes: The s.94 account is SOURCE PENDING (TNA BT 31 file). The Gazette notice that pairs Western Ground Rents with the Secretary of State for Wales (a Natural Resources Wales surplus-land notice under the Crichel Down Rules) concerns Ty Newydd, Rhondda Grazings, Treherbert (conveyance 23 Dec 1963), not Llandough: Gazette notice 2209194.
