[AP of unreg land] if proceedings are begun before the expiration of the limitation period, right off action is unaffected by the expiration of the period whilst the proceedings remain pending

[AP of unreg land] if a judgement for possession is obtained in an action begun in due time, successful claimant has a further 12yrs from the date of judgement in which to enforce the judgement

[BP Properties v Buckler 88] owner gave a licence by letter to the claimant prior to the settlement of the dispute and although she didn't reply to the letter, held by her silence to have accepted the licence

[cannot be consensual] permission which negatives AP may be present even where it is unaccompanied by any obvious process of offer and acceptance and unsupported by consideration — Neuberger J

Branch labels: "Adverse Possession", "FP".

Transcription note: Screen capture of part of a law-course mind-map (PDF). Each branch is given with its label in square brackets; spelling as shown ("right off action"). The capture is cropped, so neighbouring branches are incomplete.
