The 1667 acquisition is reported in the 1974 newspaper reports (Mary Williams' statement) and by ITV News in 1988. A transfer of land in 1667 would have been made by a written instrument; no copy is in the archive.

Who should hold it: Not identified. Family title papers were removed from the farmhouse c.1950–52 (EV-0026); estate collections at the National Library of Wales and Glamorgan Archives are the first places to search.
