The wartime National Farm Survey recorded every holding of five acres or more, with its occupier, its owner, whether the farmer was tenant or owner, and a map of the fields. For this farm it would show, three years after the 1938 sale, who was recorded as owner and on what tenure the occupier held — independently of the parties' own papers.

Who should hold it: The National Archives (MAF 32 farm records by parish; MAF 73 field maps); Welsh Government named by Defra

Date of the record: 1941–1943
