The 1910 land valuation recorded the owner, occupier, tenure and extent of every hereditament. The record map for this sheet has been identified (IR 131/4/96); the matching field book entry needs the assessment number from that map. It would show how the house and the adjoining land were held under Bute ownership before the 1916 tenancy.
