Historic England records that its Welsh section of archaeological-report microfiche went to RCAHMW on 12 January 2018 but holds no itemised list. A transfer between record bodies normally carries a list or receipt at one end or the other; without it nobody can show whether any report on this site was in the batch. On 27 October 2026 Historic England added that there never was an itemised list; it disclosed the 12 January 2018 transfer letter and a deaccession statement dated 25 July 2017, neither of which lists the fiche. Its earlier email correspondence with RCAHMW about the transfer was not disclosed.

Who should hold it: RCAHMW (receiving body); Historic England
