Cedwyn Estate · The Museum Tour

How Cedwyn was taken, parcel by parcel

Tŷ Mawr alias Cedfin — the Cedwyn estate, home of the Williams family, now Leckwith and Llandough — was old manorial farmland beside a Christian site used since the fourth century. Over a hundred years of quarrying, sewers, estate sales, lettings, court orders and registration, the land the family lived on and worked was taken into other hands one parcel at a time. Walk through the rooms in order. Every exhibit carries its catalogue ID; the reader weighs them.

The charts in Room 10 are for discussion; dates come from the cited records; nothing here is a finding of any court. Continue: the title chain, step by step · new catalogue entries · the money record · 1000 Cuts · The Story.
