Probate calendar 1991: “BUCKLER, William Beverley … of [Penarth] S Glam died 29 April 1990”, administration Llandaff 11 July 1991 (a probable match; EV-0274). South Wales Echo, 2 June 1990, p.2 (EV-0290).
“I can see no escape therefore from the conclusion that, whether she liked it or not, from the time of her receipt of the letters, Mrs Buckler was in possession of the farmhouse and garden by the licence of BP Properties Ltd, and her possession was no longer adverse within the meaning of section 10 of the 1939 Act. Accordingly I would dismiss this appeal.”
WA240304 (the house) merged into WA231076 (the fields) while the appeal was running. Both titles already stood in BP Properties’ name, so no land changed hands.
In the year 1908 my grandfather died and my father took over the farm.
