Related evidenceEV-0023 (DBDT123/7, May 1939, WGR tenancy of land at Llandough to John Williams, already catalogued); EV-0228 (Llandough Farm, Rees family, 1841–1910)

Catalogue entry (verbatim): “DBDT129/3 Agreement (counterpart) for tenancy of Llandough Farm in the parish of Penarth, between Western Ground Rents Limited and Messrs David and Thomas Thomas [1 file, including plan] Aug 1940”.

Same catalogue, related entry (verbatim): “DBDT123/7 Agreement (duplicate) for tenancy of piece or parcel of land situate at Llandough between Western Ground Rents Limited and John Williams [1 file, including plan] May 1939”. This is already catalogued as EV-0023.

Why it matters: In 1940 Llandough Farm was let to tenants named Thomas, not Williams. It is the separate farm, and the plan may show its boundary against Great House Farm (not yet seen).

Proves: The Glamorgan Archives catalogue records a 1940 WGR tenancy of Llandough Farm to David and Thomas Thomas.

Does not prove: The extent of either farm, until the document and plan are seen.
