Why it matters: the reply it came with confirms that the two Great House Farm plans, archive numbers 6048943 and 6048941, are held and can be copied. The second plan carries additions dated 12 December 1988, seven days after the 5 December listing refusal. The reply finds no correspondence or photographs with the plans. Ordering the two scans is the next step for checking what the plans show.
What cuts against the case: the form is routine and the reply was on time. RCAHMW states that the catalogue entries are all it has beyond the plans. A charged air-photo search is offered rather than refused.
