Quotation: “RIGHT OF WAY FROM GREAT HOUSE FARM TO THE SWISS COTTAGES … there is no justification for the right of way being submitted … no further action.” / “VILLAGE GREEN NO. 41 … extended up to the farm wall … an unofficial access route” / “Debenham Tewson, the agents for BP Properties” / “Debenham Tewson Licence Fee 5.50”
Proves: In 1987 the council considered, and declined to pursue, a right of way from Great House Farm to the Swiss Cottages. It discussed VG41’s extent towards the farm wall. It recorded its Penlan Road licence as terminated by Debenham Tewson, named in the minutes as BP Properties’ agents, and listed a £5.50 licence fee to Debenham Tewson in its payments.
Does not prove: Who owned VG41 or the farm roadway, or the council’s legal advice. It does not say who asked for the right of way (the committee page and its date are PENDING).
