Quotation (verbatim): “[FARMER] Billy died suddenly this week …” and “[when] travelling through the area he made a detour around Llandough so never had to pass the site of Great House Farm”; also “Billy[,] his six brothers and sisters were …” OCR fragments; square brackets mark words the OCR garbles.

Fits with: The paper of Saturday 2 June 1990 reports Billy’s death as “this week”, i.e. between about 27 May and 2 June 1990. That supports the 29 May 1990 date of death used on the Timeline and bpvsbuckler, against the probate calendar’s “29 April 1990” (EV-0274), which most likely carries a month slip. The snippet also records that he avoided passing the site after the 1988 demolition.

Cuts against: Snippet only; the full report (and any funeral notice) not read. The date of death itself is not printed in the snippet. A death certificate would settle 29 April v 29 May.
