The response says Cadw inspectors visited and assessed the house for listing, that it did not meet the listing criteria, and that the only inspection record then held by Welsh Government was the two photographs. It does not establish that no related record survives elsewhere.

DOCUMENTED FACT. The ATISN 27021 response says the two photographs were the only inspection records then held by Welsh Government. It does not establish that no related record survives elsewhere. The response says other associated records would have been transferred to RCAHMW or destroyed under the Public Records Act 1958, without identifying the fate of any specific item. The house was coded “YYY” in July 1988, which Cadw has explained three different ways. The assessment ran about 48 hours across 3–5 December (Cadw critique v8.0.0). 🕒
