Proves: By February 1989 Vale of Glamorgan Council was reported taking legal and enforcement action against BP Properties over the demolition, after an unanswered 13 Dec 1988 letter.

Does not prove: It is a press report. It does not show the outcome, and it cuts against any suggestion that the council and BP acted together.
