Quotation (verbatim): “company chiefs are bidding [to] build homes on land where battling South Wales farmer Billy Buckler fought unsuccessfully to stop bailiffs evicting him … Great House Farm Llandough … a legal wrangle stretching back 33 years …”; “No objection has been made by Llandough Community Council but they [… want?] the land registered as village green”.

Fits with: Falls between the outline application (received 8 Nov 1989) and the 13 March 1990 permission. Records the Community Council’s position on the site at the planning stage.

Cuts against: Snippet only: the OCR may splice in a neighbouring column. The council did not object to the housing.

Notes: Read the full page before relying on the wording.
