Mary (Nancy) Williams Estate Evidence Dossier

This dossier controls the evidence needed to determine Mary (Nancy) Williams’s proprietary position, occupation and the identity of the person or estate entitled to pursue any surviving legal route.

  • Identity and death: civil registration, date/place of death and probate.
  • Occupation: evidence that Mary occupied the farmhouse and the extent of land occupied.
  • Ownership / title: deeds, conveyances, tenancy documents, plans, statements and registration material.
  • 1982–83 registration: complete WA240304 application and supporting evidence; identify what was disclosed about Mary’s interest and occupation.
  • Correspondence: Linklaters and other professional correspondence, especially post-death material and certification.
  • Inheritance: will, intestacy/probate, beneficiaries and any transmission of rights.
  • Post-death events: 1983 registration, 1984–88 possession litigation and any representations about Mary’s interest.
  • Standing result: record the legal claimant identified by the evidence, not the family label.

Acceptance test: no conclusion about Mary’s legal interest is treated as established until the primary title/estate evidence and the complete 1982–83 registration record have been tested together.

Site-wide working-theory cross-reference (18 October 2026): See the Cedwyn Estate Working Theory. This page may contribute evidence to a specific part of that hypothesis only to the extent its source actually establishes a relevant name, event, parcel, title, claim or decision. Similar names, proximity, chronology or institutional involvement are research leads, not proof of common ownership or coordination.
