Title Chain / Parcel A–B Matrix

Identity control: Parcel A is the full 1877 house/quarrying estate, not a synonym for the farmhouse and garden alone. It includes the farmhouse/buildings; barns, stable and yard west of the house; garden; forest north of the house; and ground south-east of the house/garden later registered as VG41. Parcel B is the separate eastern agricultural fields. The title case, resting on Mary (Nancy) Williams’s c.1974 witness statement (Mary (Nancy) Williams testimony), is that the 1877 arrangement took effect in 1928 and WGR’s later possession of Parcel B did not confer rights over Parcel-A forest or green. Later “whole farm” language blurred the two parcels; it did not make them one title by itself.

Rule: later registration of a combined title does not by itself prove that every earlier deed, tenancy, judgment or description treated the two parcels as one legal unit.
