John Williams’s tenancy surrendered and Frederick’s unwritten yearly agricultural tenancy from WGR begins for Parcel B. The Court of Appeal records “a new yearly agricultural tenancy commencing at February 2 1949” (BP Properties Ltd v Buckler [1987] EWCA Civ 2, para 5). No 1949 offer to Mary (Nancy) Williams concerning Parcel A, or reply from her, has been found. Our case: a permissive occupancy ploy.
