Related evidenceEV-0037 (Western Mail, 20 Nov 1958: Mrs M. D. Buckler’s “Crichel Down” complaint) · EV-0239 · EV-0240 (the 1957–63 county development plan)

Snippet (OCR, verbatim, columns mixed): “… ‘Mrs.’ M. D. BUCKLER. … Llandough. …” The same OCR window mixes text from other columns on the page (including a piece headed “Jibbing at …”), so nothing else in it can be attributed to this item.

Why it matters: If it is a letter signed by Mrs M. D. Buckler of Llandough, it is a public statement by her a year before the 1958 complaint, in the year the county development plan was submitted. That is unconfirmed.

Cuts against: SNIPPET ONLY. It is not known that the item is a letter, what it says, or that it concerns the farm.

Proves: The name “Mrs. M. D. Buckler”, with “Llandough”, appears in the OCR of the Western Mail of 9 Oct 1957, p.6.

Does not prove: Anything about the farm, the land or any public body, until the page is read.
