Quotation (verbatim): Land Authority for Wales: Board minutes and papers (catalogue).

Fits with: The Board volume for the weeks when the press reported LAW had “acquired sites … from Lavernock [to] Leckwith including plots at Llandough” (South Wales Echo, 1 Nov 1988). It may hold the purchase approval with acreage, price and plans, and an abstract reciting the 1938 root.

Cuts against: Nothing shows LAW held any Great House Farm land: the farm stayed with BP Properties Ltd. LAW bought from a private buyer chosen by open tender (see the next page).

Notes: Free reading-room inspection at Kew; Sion’s decision.
