Accessibility statement
Template prepared by Cedwyn editors.
We want everyone to be able to use the Great House Farm (Tŷ Mawr) sites. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we check new pages on a 390-pixel phone screen and by keyboard.
What works
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content on our standard pages.
- Colour pairs for each site were chosen to pass WCAG AA contrast.
- Pages can be navigated by keyboard, and form fields have labels.
- A language switcher offers English, Welsh and Spanish on most sites.
Known limitations
- The 3D walk at /3d/ is a visual experience and is not usable with a screen reader. The 2D map and the list of stops on the Cedwyn Estate map give the same links.
- The chessboard and the sudoku rely on visual layout; each square's full text is available in its “Read more” window.
- Some scanned documents and press cuttings are images. Where we have a transcription, it is on the same page.
- Older PDF e-books may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
- The Legal Wiki runs on WordPress.com, whose theme we do not fully control.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you cannot use part of a site, or need content in another format, tell us through the enquiry form. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
Enforcement
We are a private organisation with duties under the Equality Act 2010. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
