The Bute Estate The Bute Estate i Outside records How we treat outside records. Tŷ Mawr is first named in the record we have found in David Stewart’s 1824 survey (EV-0211). The Williams family acquired Tŷ Mawr in 1667 (sources: Mary Williams’ statement in the 1974 newspapers; ITV News, 1988). Earlier documents on this page that come from the Bute estate or other third parties, such as the Cydwin lease or a Bute catalogue heading, are not records of Tŷ Mawr: their application to it is under forensic examination, and we test them rather than repeat them.
Our method Mae Tŷ Mawr wedi’i enwi gyntaf yn y cofnod a gawsom yn arolwg David Stewart, 1824. Cafodd teulu Williams Dŷ Mawr yn 1667 (ffynonellau: datganiad Mary Williams yn y papurau newydd, 1974; ITV News, 1988). Nid yw dogfennau cynharach gan ystâd Bute neu eraill yn gofnodion o Tŷ Mawr; maent dan archwiliad fforensig. Body · freeholder of Llandough , to 1938
